Perfect Wedding Venue in Georgia
Originally designed by Monroe architect William Winstead Thomas in the then-popular Victorian Italianate Villa style, the house was extensively remodeled in the 1930’s by Nashville architect, and son-in-law of Edgar and Gipsy Tichenor, Francis Boddie Warfield. Remodeled in the Neoclassical style in favor with prominent southerners at the time, the interior was reconfigured but much of the original woodwork, doors and inlaid marbleized mantels are original; making this the best wedding venue in Georgia.
